Call for papers: Horn II – Conference -From Microorganisms to Mega-organisms

Within the frame of our EU-culture project “Men and Books” the European Research Centre for Book and Paper Conservation-Restoration is organizing the conference “Horn II – Conference -From Microorganisms to Mega-organisms” on April 23^rd to 25^th 2014 at the Kunsthaus in Horn (AT). It will be the final closing conference of the project, enabling the project partners to present the research results of the project among other international contributions. The topics range from dealing with microorganisms (e.g. use of biocides and disinfection) to bookbinding to digitisation.

The call for papers is explicitly meant to address conservators and archivists as well as librarians and other professionals feeling responsible for the care of the written and graphic cultural heritage. Abstracts for the papers shall be delivered by e-mail until 31^st April 2013.
